How this calculator works
Order-by date = event date − lead days, then shifted backwards over any Saturday/Sunday when 'skip weekends' is on. The order-by time is the florist's daily cutoff.
Every figure is calculated in your browser from the values you enter, so nothing is sent anywhere and you can adjust the inputs freely to match your own quote.

Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should I order flowers?
For same-day delivery, order before the local florist's cutoff (often around midday). For a specific date it is safer to order at least a day or two ahead, and for peak dates such as Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, several days ahead.
Why does the calculator move my order date back a day?
If you asked it to skip weekends, it walks the order-by date backwards off Saturday and Sunday so you are ordering on a day a florist is likely to be open and processing orders.
Do florists deliver on Sundays and holidays?
Availability varies. Many local florists do not deliver on Sundays or major holidays, and peak dates sell out. Confirm the exact date with the florist before you rely on it.
What is an order cutoff time?
It is the time of day by which an order must be placed for same-day or next-day processing. Cutoffs differ by florist and by time zone, so the calculator lets you set the one that applies to your order.
